Stirlings, established as Stirling Metals in 1973, has grown over the last five decades into one of Australia's leading privately owned stockholding and processing distributors of Stainless & Performance Steel products. Now going by Stirlings Performance Steels, we have an experienced, qualified and valued staff of over 140 employees, of whom we are very proud.

We have developed a strong, efficient and competitively priced supply chain with some of the world's leading Performance Metals manufacturers. We are constantly striving to provide our customers with the highest quality product at the best value price.

Our services, from receivals to processing to delivery, take place in our five fully equipped warehouses across Australia. These are all managed by an experienced team that is consistently innovating in every sense, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved with every aspect of our business. 

Our comprehensive stock product program contains Australia's largest range and depth of stocked products and grades. This includes Bar, Sheet, Plate, Pipes, Tubes, Fittings and more; making us your ideal supplier in the industries of Food & Beverage, Marine, Architecture, Resources, Construction, Transport and more.

Sustainability

At Stirlings, we are committed to internal practices to reduce our carbon footprint, including:

  • Investing in machinery that consumes less energy whilst increasing output - including our new Penta Laser;

  • Selling product that is fully recyclable;

  • Recycling packaging materials as much as possible, and updating materials used to increase sustainability.
